CONTRIBUTE / DOCUMENTS / TESTIMONY

The record is
open to challenge.

Offer a missing document, challenge a priority claim, correct an attribution or identify a conflicting historical source.

Start with a specific claim.

Good research leads identify the page or assertion in question, describe the proposed change, provide a dated and attributable source and explain how that record affects the current reading. Anonymous leads can be useful, but they still require verification.

Where to send the draft

A live intake mailbox or moderated submission endpoint has not yet been confirmed. Keep your downloaded draft until a verified submission channel is published here. We will not display a fake “submission received” message.

What happens after we receive evidence?

  1. Review provenance, permissions, relevance and competing records.
  2. Determine whether a new fact, disputed interpretation or no change is warranted.
  3. For accepted material corrections, publish a dated revision note with evidence.
